Road Redi

Road Redi is a newly expanded division of the Municipal Group of Companies. Working in tandem with General Liquids Canada, Road Redi serves as our emulsions application team in the treatment and protection of public roads and highways. This includes the promotion of new products as well as the operation and production of speciality products within GLC, including Micro Seal and Chip Seal.

In 2011, Road Redi played a significant role in the Gateway Maintenance Program, which covers approximately 55km on New Brunswick’s Route 1. In just 12 days, Road Redi’s team applied almost 1 million litres of Micro Seal emulsion between Sussex and Hampton, averaging about 75,000 litres per day.

- Halifax/Dartmouth MacDonald Bridge.
- Halifax/Dartmouth Ferry Terminal pedestrian ramps
- Portland Street Construction (First time for Micro Seal at Night)
- Various sections of Trunk 1, Hwy 101, 103, 105, 125 (Total of 56km)

Additional Chip Seal projects include:
- Total of 29.1 km on various roads in New Brunswick
- 9.4 km in Shelburne County
- Chip Seal one section in the Town of Bridgewater
- Private subdivision/cul - de - sac chip sealed in Kings County
