Dexter Construction Company Limited, part of the Municipal Group of Companies - Atlantic Canada’s largest heavy construction corporation, and Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) joined as strategic partners to create the Dexter Institute of Heavy Construction.

The Institute offers a two-year cooperative education program that will ensure a continuous flow of skilled workers in the Heavy Construction Industry. This partnership brings industry and education together to address the skilled labour shortage in the industry.
