SCOPE OF WORK:

• Consists of 240 kilometers of four-lane divided highway complete with interchanges, structures and road side assets located between the USA/Canada border in St. Stephen and the Route 1/Route 2 connector in River Glade
• P3 (Public Private Partnership) and the largest infrastructure project in New Brunswick's history
• Two distinct contracts, a Design Build (DB) contract and an Operations, Maintenance and Rehabilitation (OMR) contract
• Dexter Construction was responsible for the design and construction of 55 kilometers of new four-lane highway, including many upgrades along the existing corridor
• Received Gold Award for Infrastructure at the National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships
• Design-Build contract was completed well ahead of schedule and officially opened in October 2012
• Operations, Maintenance and Rehabilitation contract being performed by Gateway Operations
