SCOPE OF WORK:
- Phase 1 entails the creation of a new storm water system with partial re-exposure of Sawmill River
- Included removal of existing 300m of pipe, disposal of contaminated soil (approx. 20000t), new channel for fish passage, installation of Shawspan bridge structure, formation of retaining walls and box culvert
- Also included - all railings, pedestrian walkways and landscaping
- Received 2019 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Engineering
